0% and near-0% APR tiers usually call for a score around 700 or above. Scores below that often still qualify for a promotional rate — just at a higher tier, or with a shorter term.
GM’s published payment examples for these offers assume a down payment — 6.6% on the Silverado, Equinox and Trax, and 15.5% on the Traverse. Putting more down doesn’t change your rate, but it lowers the amount financed and your monthly payment.
Expect to document income and employment. Recent pay stubs, proof of residence and a valid driver’s license will move your approval along quickly.

Yes. For the incentive period running through November 4, 2026, the 2026 Silverado 1500 is available at 0% APR for 60 months for well-qualified buyers through GM Financial. Other models in the lineup carry low promotional rates rather than 0%. Offers change at the start of each incentive period.
This period the Silverado 1500 is at 0% APR for 60 months, the Traverse FWD LT is at 2.9% APR for 36 months, the Equinox is at 3.9% APR for 60 months, and the Trax LT FWD is at 4.9% APR for 72 months. Availability varies by trim, model year and what is physically on our lot, so check current inventory before you plan around a specific rate.
There is no single published cutoff, but the top GM Financial tier that carries 0% generally corresponds to a score of about 700 or higher, alongside verifiable income and a clean recent payment history. If you are below that, you may still qualify for a promotional rate at a different tier. Applying is the only way to know your actual tier.
Usually not with customer cash. Promotional APR is itself the incentive, so GM typically makes you choose between the low rate and a cash rebate rather than taking both.
